To initiate your IS&T IT project request, please complete the IS&T Project Intake Form. Questions regarding the process described above should be directed to your IT Business Liaison OR Contact the IS&T Project Management Office (PMO) IST-PMO@dconc.gov.

What is the IT Governance Review Process?
The IT Governance Review Process is a process to ensure effective evaluation, selection, prioritization, and funding of competing IT investments.
Who makes up the County IT Governance Review Committee?
The IT Governance Committee includes the following: County Manager, County Manager’s Senior Leadership team plus the Directors for Budget, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Services & Technology.
How often does the IT Governance Review Committee meet?
The IT Governance Review Committee meets once a quarter each Fiscal Year.

What is the purpose of the IS&T project submission process?
The purpose of the IS&T project submission process is to ensure all project requests or proposals are captured and reviewed. It helps ensure that approved projects align with the county’s available resource capacity and overall strategic goals and initiatives. The submission process also helps to identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
Who is eligible/qualified to submit an IT project proposal?
What do I need to consider before I submit an IT project proposal?
The requestor should consider the following: total cost of ownership (if cost is involved), budget, business goals, resources that will be required within the department to support the project, any additional resources needed once the project is completed, and timeline associated with implementation.
What are examples of IT projects (What types of projects would qualify for submission to the intake process?)
Examples of IT projects are Software Development and Deployment, Infrastructure Upgrades and Migrations, Data Management and Analytics, IT Security Initiatives, System Integrations, Business Process Automation, and Mobile/Web Integrations.
